Grad school has reached a fever pitch. Seven days to go in the quarter. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have grad school should be on quarters was wrong.
I have a new skill to add to my resume from this hellish quarter:
"Fundraising and Development Consultant"
And I have the 100 page handbook I helped write to prove it, along with pictures from the board meeting presentation that was rocked hard.
As hard as the first half of grad school has been, I know that the second half is only going to be harder. Wow! What a crazy but true thought.
Three days until my birthday. I'm buying myself a new camera and making a commitment to myself to stay devoted to my yoga practice. I've had kind of a track record for underwhelming birthday celebrations the past 5 years, but I think this one is going to be good in a low key and fun way - which is just my style these days.
